The Best Year For Movies, Like, Ever

Celebrating its sixth birthday this year, it's...

Just thought I'd be positive for a change.

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

  1. Great article!

No seriously, couldn't you have gone into the subject matter more? Discuss movies that were released then, compare it with other years... for all we know 2003 was actually better.

  2. But it wasn't. It clearly says so up there.

By the way I had a look at your website. Couldn't you make the articles a bit shorter? Make a few bad jokes, criticise rubbish marketing campaigns, interview Joe Cornish?

  3. It is all subjective. 1999 was a good year with Fight Club. The Matrix. American Beauty. Being John Malkovich. The Sixth Sense. Office Space. Magnolia. South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut. The Blair Witch Project. Three Kings. Election. Run Lola Run. The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Citizen Kane 1941 by Orson Welles is probably the best film in the world. Better than his Carlsberg commercials at least.

  4. Worst remake idea ever. Piranha 2010 is Jaws 1975 with more jaws and more teeth. There is even a Sheriff who says "Whatever you do, do not go into the water." I wonder if there is a zoom out track in shot too.(Vertigo 1958 had a zoom in track out shot.)

  5. At last I've worked out why The Incredible Suit has picked 2004. It is because of The Incredibles and the Incredible Suit to be seen. From the Incredible Suit's point of view 2004 is so obviously miles ahead of any other year that it needs no explaining and anyone who does not spot that is as observant as a FIFA lines man.

  6. Does this mean that the 2000s were the best decade?

  7. No. They might have been, but this doesn't mean that they were.
