Now that Harry Potter's ten-year journey through the box office is almost at an end, it's time to look back at some of the cast and marvel at how completely different they all looked a decade ago when they were fresh-faced, innocent young squits with an epic adventure before them. It really is amazing what a difference ten years makes!
John Hurt (Mr Ollivander)
Alan Rickman (Severus Snape)
Maggie Smith (Minerva McGonagall)
Julie Walters (Molly Weasley)
David Bradley (Argus Filch)
Richard Harris (Albus Dumbledore)
Bless 'em. Weren't they cute?
UR A FUNY GIY!

ReplyDeleteThis is a remarkable tribute to the 66 make up artists listed in the credits of the latest Harry Potter film. These experts can turn the clock backwards or forwards. In that sense a make up caravan is like a Tardis with actors entering as one age and emerging as another.
ReplyDeleteIf DoubleBore appears again then Richard Harris will have copied the Beatrix Kiddo aka 'Black Mamba'(Uma Thurman) grave trick of climbing out of a buried coffin in Kill Bill Vol.2.
For those without a handy Tardis there is the Dorian Grey Incredible Suit which becomes moth eaten and frayed while the owner enjoys eternal virility.
I refuse to believe that everybody is not reading your blog. It's fantastic! and genuinely hilarious in comparison to every other film blog :) (nice feedback to wake up to...)
ReplyDeleteYou're too kind. Nice feedback is quite literally my second favourite thing to wake up to.
