Having just seen The Hurt Locker and about to get 'Flags of Our Fathers' in Blu-ray from LoveFilm.com, I think Tarantino's bastard may leave a nazi taste in the mouth. I'll remain ingloriously incurious for a week or two.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to compare art forms. A live music concert or a play at the theatre exist only for the moment. No form of reproduction can truly capture the physical experience of being there. Those making paintings, statues and feature films on the other hand are able to leave an indelible legacy for generations to come. The very first 'movie' was the zoopraxiscope in 1867 or perhaps Lumiere's camera of 1895 and they can be enjoyed today.
