"You Ain't Seen Bad Boys 2?"

My Ritzy Cinema / Edgar Wright double bill ticket giveaway attracted a record number of entries for a The Incredible Suit competition, which may be down to the fact that the prize was actually worth something this time. FYI, the massive cardboard Prince Of Persia poster I tried to get shot of here was never collected and is still knocking about at work. People keep asking me when I'm going to either take it home or burn it because it's in the way and they don't like having to look at Jake Gyllenhaal thrusting his tits out every day.

To be in with a chance of winning two tickets to Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz on August 8th (tickets still available!) all you had to do was guess which of those two films is The Incredible Suit's favourite. Here's a mathematically accurate visual representation of the entries:

A lot of people will therefore be disappointed to find that I actually prefer Hot Fuzz to Shaun Of The Dead, and I realise I'm in a minority there but you know what that's how I feel and I'm not about to change my mind just to agree with you lot. Maybe if you're lucky I'll explain how I reached that conclusion after I've seen them again, back to back, on Sunday August 8th at Brixton's Ritzy Cinema, I'm not sure if I mentioned those details enough times yet.

Anyway as promised, the correct entrants gained access to The Incredible Suit's Arena Of Destiny, and in an epic battle to the death, a champion emerged victorious. Turn your speakers up:

So well done to the lucky winner, hard luck to the losers, shame on you to the cheaters and for God's sake give me some credit to the people who thought it was a trick question.

The Winner Takes It All

What, in some primitive cultures, could be called The Greatest Competition Of All Time closed at the weekend, and with the number of entries reaching double figures (two) it was time to pick a winner.

So I finished off a bottle of delicious 7-year-old Cuban Legendario rum (I'm still awaiting a sponsorship offer from them) and, with the assistance of Mrs The Incredible Suit, used the most sophisticated method I could think of to declare a victor. Here's what happened:

Congratulations to the lucky winner then, I suppose. Get in touch and let me know when you can come and collect this embarrassing prize.

Win A Cumbersome Prince Of Persia Marketing Device!

The Incredible Suit recently came into possession* of a rather unwieldy piece of movie memorabilia freshly liberated from the Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time premiere:

It's too ridiculously big to fit into my life so one of you guys can have it, but only if you a) pick it up from Westminster and b) jump through some hoops to prove you really want it.

The Hoops:
  1. Email me at theincrediblesuit@yahoo.co.uk
  2. Indicate that you're emailing about the Prince Of Persia competition rather than informing me that a hitherto unknown relative has died in Nigeria and has left me an £18.4 trillion inheritance which I can claim if I could just amputate my right hand and post it, along with my passport, any major credit card and a retina, to a PO Box in Lagos.
  3. Everyone who emails will be entered into a draw and a "lucky" "winner" chosen at random.
  4. The competition, such as it is, closes at midnight on Friday 14th May, and I'll announce the chosen one at the weekend.
Let me just remind you that if you win YOU WILL have to collect it from Westminster, because there's no way I'm lugging this thing to the Post Office. It might sound like a pain but you'll get to meet The Incredible Suit and see the Houses Of Parliament, which is an added prize in itself.

Bonne chance!

*No, I didn't hang around at the premiere with a pair of pliers waiting for security to turn their back so I could nick a big picture of Gemma Arterton. Like Quantum, The Incredible Suit has people... everywhere.
