  8. BAFTA Round 1 voting has started. There are 285 movies entered this year. Of the ones I managed to see my vote goes to 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' as best film. (I'm writing this to irritate The Incredible Suit who I understand hates mention of awards.) I wonder what other Incredible Suit fans rated as winners this year?

(I wonder if The Incredible Suit has twigged that the heat detector above his hotel be is a next generation web cam.)

  10. Well, the voting closes today for round 1 of the BAFTA awards. This will produce a long list from the 285 films that qualify. Round 2 opens on Friday and closes on Thursday 12th reducing the contenders to a handful in each category. Round 3 starts on 17th January and closes on 8th February. This gives members a chance to see the short listed movies again before the final vote. The BAFTA awards showis on Sunday 12th February. I'm rooting for 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' to win best film and best director.
