Even though people are being killed or maimed in this "violent" western, the directing and the characters and their hygiene make the old west seem like a broadway musical (without the singing and dancing of course).
Damon's character UKhttp://acall4change.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887106662149516337.post-24309296939406609302011-02-10T02:20:23.099+00:002011-02-10T02:20:23.099+00:00Very nice blog, I've been looking for somethin...Very nice blog, I've been looking for something like this :] I subscribed!

http://mattgaimz.blogspot.com/Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18374800458249957963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887106662149516337.post-20905700399522327462011-02-09T21:38:16.834+00:002011-02-09T21:38:16.834+00:00I've seen True Grit twice with increasing plea...I've seen True Grit twice with increasing pleasure. I loved the scenes where Jeff Bridges & Mat Damon try to out do each other to impress Steinfeld. It was played as if the characters knew they were part of Western mythology even as they were living it. This is a rare example of a remake being better than the original in 1969.Tony Coxnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887106662149516337.post-78745244864143335882011-02-09T20:55:35.697+00:002011-02-09T20:55:35.697+00:00I agree, because I was expecting something incredi...I agree, because I was expecting something incredibly great, but instead I just got something that was OK. I'm still looking forward to it by may just pull my excitement down a notch or two. I also love the Coen's old stuff too but can accept that they can do something out of their usual style from time to time.
It&#Marge Gundersonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8887106662149516337.post-18704660818505772082011-02-09T09:56:00.040+00:002011-02-09T09:56:00.040+00:00I love BTTF 3.
